Carina Zhang 张福艳 is a Chinese-born artist now based in Lucerne, Switzerland. Her works incorporate bold colors, intricate details, and a blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics. Carina draws inspiration from her personal experiences and memories of growing up in Rizhao, China.
One of her obsessions is to capture the vastness and might of water and the oceans on canvas. Her works aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia and represent the calm dominance and reverence that nature imposes on the human senses.
